No more filling out and mailing in registration forms. Simply follow the link to register online, pay for your classes and you are done!
As always any quilting retreat we do would not be complete with Yellow Creek Quilter’s. They will be joining us Saturday, 4 May, for sewing machine repair, scissors and knife sharpening. They will arrive early and will be there as long as they are needed. They also will be happy to take back with them any quilts ready to be quilted. Call 304-653-4150 to let me know if you are bringing in a machine to be attended to.
A special addition to this year’s retreat…we are thrilled to be offering a class entitled “Mini Log Cabin” being taught by Vicky Graham. Students will be introduced to paper piecing while making four inch log cabin quilt blocks. Yes, you read that correctly. Four inch log cabin quilt blocks! Vicky lives in Kingwood, West Virginia. She has been sewing since she was a child and began making quilts in 2003. Vicky is an active member of the state quilt guild, West Virginia Quilters, and has been on the show committee for the state quilt show since 2010. Vicky loves to visit places in West Virginia and is pleased to offer a class in Pocahontas County.
We are so looking forward to seeing everyone and want to thank everyone for their continued support of the quilting community!
