For those of you who might have missed my earlier post, I am THRILLED to announce the shop will be participating in the West Virginia Mountain Quilt Quest, 17 through 29 July 2017, for the FIRST time ever! My shop is only one of 11 shops participating this year.’s event, so I am really excited to be included in this year’s event! This event will be going on at the same time as the Row by Row Experience, so you could collect rows and quilt quest patterns at the same time!!!
“Come and join us for a winding adventure through the nature-filled hills of West Virginia. This two week event filled with fabric, fun and prizes will indulge your love of quilting while you enjoy the natural beauty of our state. Each of the 11 quilt shops will provide a complimentary block pattern; as well as offer the option of purchasing their project kit. When you have collected all quilt block patterns from each of the 11 shops you will be able to create a wonderful quilt as a memory of your journey. This year’s theme fabric “Birds of a Feather, Quilt Together” is especially designed by West Virginia artist Dorothy Post Swick from Bridgeport. Our block patterns are created by West Virginian Eileen Farren from Kenova. She has worked with us in the past and does a great job of designing our blocks. Each shop will have a door prize drawing so be sure to register at each one as you visit.” For more information regarding the 2017 Quilt Quest, please visit their website: http://www.wvmountainquiltquest.com/main/
So mark your calendar for July 17-29, 2017 and I hope you’ll come meander through “Wild, Wonderful, West Virginia”.
Also, I wanted to let everyone know, I also have the Wildflowers of West Virginia panel, from last year’s 2016 quilt quest, available for purchase now in the shop. See you soon!
